With Zadie Smith's The Wife of Willesden currently running at the company's home base in Kilburn ahead of a transfer to the US, Kiln Theatre's Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham has announced the world première of Ryan Calais Cameron's new play based on a true event in the life of actor Sidney Poitier in 1950s Hollywood.

Kiln Theatre has announced a two-week extension for Zadie Smith's critically acclaimed smash-hit The Wife of Willesden due to public demand ‚Äď now running at Kiln Theatre until Saturday 11 February 2023. Directed by Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham, the production sees Clare Perkins reprising her role as Alvita.

A new revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s rock opera Evita is headed to the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University in May 2023, led by Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Kelvin Dinkins, Jr. The A.R.T., in association with Shakespeare Theatre Company, will produce Evita May 14 - July 16, 2023 at the Loeb Drama Center in Harvard Square.

Kiln Theatre has released rehearsal photos from the return of Zadie Smith’s The Wife of Willesden, directed by Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham. The production runs at Kiln Theatre from 14 December to 28 January, ahead of its US transfer in February.
