Trevor McQueen is an actor and singer/songwriter who made his Broadway debut in Annie Get Your Gun. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama in Pittsburgh with a BFA in Acting/Music Theater. NY readings/workshops: The Band's Visit (Atlantic Theater Company,) The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant (Third Space) and Freedom's Song. He has shared his music in events for organizations such as The Trevor Project, Operation Smile and Broadway Cares. He has also appeared in numerous TV specials and spots, including promos for the successful Let’s Just Play! initiative for Nickelodeon. While studying in Pittsburgh, Trevor developed a network of talented musicians and booked weekly gigs around the city, appearing at venues such as The Cabaret at Theater Square, Pittsburgh Public Theater, SPIN, Little E’s, Andys at the Fairmont Hotel and Nola on the Square. He is co-founder of The Castaway Players, a Hudson Valley-based theater company - dedicated to enriching the lives of children and teenagers through art, acting, music and dance - still in existence today. In April 2015, Trevor appeared on Celebrity Cruises’ Millennium when he opened for Tony and Grammy-award winning Billy Porter as part of his CD-release concert tour in Southeast Asia. Trevor has made appearances at numerous venues across the country including Joe’s Pub, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, The Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT, Adelphi University in Garden City, NY, as well as playing sold out shows at Birdland Jazz Club in New York City.
The Hangar Theater has announced the upcoming production of Cabaret. One of the most successful stage productions of all time, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and book by Joe Masteroff, Cabaret tells the story of the Kit Kat Club's provocative performers, curious audience members, and mysterious Master of Ceremonies during the dawning of the Nazi era in Berlin, Germany.
Over 200 guests attended the April 4th event, which was co-chaired by Michele Fabrizi and Celia Soehner, Esq. The night also featured musical performances by Pittsburgh Opera’s award-winning Resident Artists.
