The Old Vic to Offer Online Stream of A CHRISTMAS CAROL to Residential Care Homes

The Old Vic has announced that the OLD VIC: IN CAMERA digital archive of Matthew Warchus’ smash hit production of A Christmas Carol, adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), will be offered to residential care homes for adults and children nationwide for free across two online streams in December 2023.

Production images have been released today for this year’s OLD VIC: IN CAMERA version of Jack Thorne’s A Christmas Carol starring Andrew Lincoln as Ebenezer Scrooge. Directed by Matthew Warchus, the festive favorite has returned for its fourth year and this time is streamed live for 16 live performances now through December 24, 2020.

The Old Vic in London, England announced that Andrew Lincoln (AMC's The Walking Dead) will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in this year's OLD VIC: IN CAMERA version of Jack Thorne's A Christmas Carol. The full cast has been announced for the 2015 national tour of Craig Gilbert's stage adaptation of Jerome K Jerome's Three Men in a Boat. Michael Rouse will play George, joining the previously announced Tom Hackney as Harris, David Partridge as J and Anna Westlake as Nelly. The tour opens at Cambridge Arts Theatre on 21 January and runs until 27 March at Venue Cymru, Llandudno.
