Sydney Holliday BIO

Sydney Holliday is an award-winning actor and mediamaker who works bicoastal. Her notable credits include: Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind at EdFringe 2022, (&Medea) at Muhlenberg College, and Signs of Life, a short film with the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema which was included in the 2023 Renegades Film Fest and 2022 Brooklyn SciFi Film Festival. She recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College, earning a B.A. with a double major in Theatre (with an Acting Concentration) and Media & Communication.

This Spotlight shines on Sydney Holliday, a college student who I first met as a Mira Costa High School student when she performed in the Kentwood Players productions of The Imaginary Invalid, The Crucible, and 12 Angry Women. Here is her perspective on how the shutdown has affected her Arts education as a freshman at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.

Kentwood Players proudly presents THE IMAGINARY INVALID by Moliere, an outrageous satire of medicine and its practitioners, opening Friday, January 13 through Saturday, February 18, 2017 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm at the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue in Westchester, CA 90045. The production is directed by Susan Stangl, who just happens to be a medical doctor adding her unique spin to the production, and produced by Sheridan Cole for Kentwood Players.
