Back to the Backlot, a live musical comedy variety show, will bring back many of West Hollywood's famed Backlot Theatre's original showcase stars to commemorate the end of an era of one of the country's most famous venues for live entertainment. The event will mark the beginning of the preservation project known as Robertson Lane, which will re-build the venue formally known as The Factory and the famous Studio One Nightclub. The historic building opened in 1929 as the home of Mitchell Cameras, an early and important movie camera maker for the large movie studios. It was then the Studio One nightclub/Backlot Theatre from the late 1970s through the 1990s.

Today, Feinstein's at the Nikko announced an exciting lineup of artists who will take the stage at San Francisco's premier intimate nightclub this fall and winter. Singer/Songwriter Steve Grand is hitting the road this fall with his Pink Champagne Tour and will bring it to Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood for one show only on Tuesday, November 12, at 8:30pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents. The Pink Champagne Tour will feature Grand's original material as well as some classic covers from some of the most iconic out gay artists of all-time including Queen, Elton John, and George Michael.

NFL defensive tackle and The Voice finalist Esera Tuaolo is set to make his Los Angeles cabaret debut with his new show Mr. Aloha at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood on Thursday, January 24, at 8:30pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents. Tuaolo's show Mr. Aloha features heartfelt tales and video snippets of his life experiences, classic covers, and original material.

Mark Cortale, Producing Artistic Director of Provincetown's internationally known Art House theater, has announced that he has begun to search for a new summer location for 2019. Cortale learned last week that the twin 120-seat theaters at The Art House will be gutted by the property owner after the current summer season due to restaurant expansion plans.
