Chris Isaacson Presents Announces Slate Of Entertainment for December 2017

Chris Isaacson Presents has announced a full slate of winter entertainment through the end of 2017. The lineup begins with Bianca Del Rio and Peaches Christ in the LA premiere of Sheetlejuice, followed by YouTube LGBTQ sensation Steve Grand performing his show All American Boy: Up Close and Personal. Up next are singer/actress Joely Fisher with her new show Growing Up Fisher, The Voice winner Alisan Porter, award-winning actor/singer Richard Shelton with his popular Sinatra & Me, and E! Network star Emile Welman on New Year's Eve.

The afterlife will be one hell of a party with the LA premiere of Sheetlejuice, an all-drag theatrical parody starring everyone's favorite Queen of Mean, Bianca Del Rio, in the title role. Written and directed by cult icon and Queen of the Midnight Mass Peaches Christ, her San Francisco Superstars are ready to haunt the Southland. LA's ghostly cast will include Katya Smirnoff-Skyy, Sister Roma, Lady Bear, Roz Drezfalez, Rory Davis, Sam Pancake, Simon Palczynski, Will Bedell, and special guest Kat Robichaud. Presented in association with Matthew Herrmann. [The Montalban Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday, December 2 at 7pm.]

YouTube sensation Steve Grand makes his LA debut with All American Boy: Up Close and Personal, performing fan favorites and new songs from his forthcoming album. Since bursting onto the scene with his viral song and video "All American Boy," Grand has performed his original music all over the world, captivating audiences with not only his skills as a natural live performer and songwriter, but with his ability to connect with his audience through song and unique banter. [Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood on Tuesday, December 5 at 8:30pm.]

In this new show based on her memoir "Growing Up Fisher," Joely Fisher invites you backstage into the intimate world of her family and career. The funny and irreverent show is filled with incredible, candid stories about her life, her famous parents Eddie Fisher and Connie Stevens, and how the loss of her sister Carrie Fisher ignited the writer and performer within. Fisher will be joined by musical director Ron Abel for the Palm Springs and Los Angeles performances, and then by pianist Michael Sobie for the San Francisco and San Diego performances. [Catalina Bar & Grill on Wednesday, December 6, at 8:30pm; The Purple Room in Palm Springs on Friday, December 8 at 8pm and Saturday, December 9 at 8pm; Martinis Above Fourth in San Diego on Tuesday, December 11 at 8pm; Feinstein's at the Nikko in San Francisco on Thursday, December 13 at 7pm.]

Alisan Porter and Friends will bring the winner of NBC-TV's The Voice to the heart of Hollywood in concert for the first time. Joining Porter onstage will be actress and recording artist Shoshana Bean, Tony Award-nominee Sam Harris, Michael Sanchez (The Voice, Season 11), and country music singer and songwriter Mary Sarah. Mike Schiavo (The Voice, Season 10) will open the show. Porter's musical director is Todd Schroeder. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Los Angeles Youth Network (www.LAYN.org). [Catalina Bar & Grill on Sunday, December 10 at 7:30pm.]

Influenced by new jazz, swing, and Frank Sinatra's classic works, Richard Shelton's Sinatra & Me will take audiences on a nostalgic yet innovative musical journey. Shelton will also take a look 'behind the blue eyes' of Sinatra, evoking the spirit and charisma of one of the world's most beloved entertainers. [Martinis Above Fourth on Wednesday, December 27 at 8pm; The Purple Room on Saturday, December 30 at 8pm.]

E! Network star and Martinis Above Fourth favorite Emile Welman will headline an unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration on December 31. Perhaps best known for his work in Clint Eastwood's movie Invictus and on the hit TV show Mrs. Eastwood and Company, Welman will perform jazz favorites and hip hop fusion. This high energy show is one-of-a-kind, paying tribute to the old American songbook while also reinventing it for younger audiences. New Year's Eve includes a four-course prix fixe menu and a champagne toast at midnight. [Martinis Above Fourth on Sunday, December 31 at 10pm.]

Chris Isaacson Presents (CIP) has created, produced, and promoted over 700 events since the company's founding in 2004. From small clubs to major theatres CIP has presented some of the most influential stars of this generation. CIP's summer event in 2016 - Broadway Under the Stars: Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of "Dreamgirls" - was a complete sellout at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood. Most recently, CIP coordinated and produced an elaborate kick-off event at the Pacific Design Center celebrating the premiere of Ryan Murphy's FEUD: Bette and Joan (FX Networks). The Drag-Tacular Live Concert Event featured Tony Award-nominee Sam Harris as host. Niki Haris and Bianca Del Rio were only two of the many stars in the show, which played to a standing room only crowd. A schedule of 2018 events will be announced soon, including Mama Crissy Collins (February 7, 8, and 9) and Will & Anthony Nunziata (February 18) at Catalina Bar & Grill.
