Figs in Wigs will reprise their  live art, feminist adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel Little Women – Little Wimmin as part of WOW – Women of the World – London 2022 Festival prior to a UK tour. Running at the Southbank Centre from 11-13 March, the London edition of the WOW is the world's biggest, most comprehensive festival celebrating women, girls and non-binary people.

Woodruff School ACE Music Presents ELF JR.


Upper Deerfield residents will embrace their inner 'elf' when Woodruff School ACE Music presents their production of Elf The Musical JR., it was announced today by Drew Cohen, president of Music Theatre International (MTI). The show featuring 52 actors, 11-13/from 6th-8th Grade, premieres on December 12th, 2019. 'Elf The Musical JR. is an uplifting musical about one boy's quest to find his true identity. The story encourages each of us to approach each day with goodwill, wonder and cheer,' says Cohen. 'From the first rehearsal the students from Group Name have worked together as a team to create this wonderful experience for your community to enjoy. We think they deserve a standing ovation for all their work,' he adds.

Pleasance Completes its autumn Season with Best of Edinburgh Programme

Woodruff School Warms the Winter with FROZEN JR.


Disney's Frozen JR. is playing at Woodruff School from Friday, April 12th, 2019 through Sunday, April 14th, 2019 at 7pm Friday and Saturday, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. The spectacular 60-minute musical, designed for middle school-aged performers, is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation. The Woodruff School ACE Music cast includes 50 students led by Director Spencer Lau, Associate Director Tanya Nakai, Choreographer John Stephan, Vocal Coach Kayleigh Whitmore, Assistant Choreographer Lindsay Nakai and Casting Directors Jaclyn Pohlig and Sarah Moore.

Zodiac Math is an evening of intimate storytelling, scored by anachronistic alt-pop. Driven by family folklore of a childhood death curse, Elizabeth May explores questions of sexual identity and twin magic. She's endlessly searching for the missing half of a broken heart necklace, and laying herself bare in a dark comedic ritual that transforms the audience into her imaginary friends. Zodiac Math was developed as part of The New Collectives' Daily Development Workshop at IRT Theatre.

Writer and performer, Annie Siddons, will tour her hit-show How (Not) to Live in Suburbia across the UK from 22 February and throughout Spring 2018. The production will star Annie and Sarah Moore from performance collective Figs in Wigs. The tour will start on 22 February at The ShowRoom, Chichester, before moving to Bath, Norwich and Bristol.
