The Keegan Theatre has announced the cast and creative team of the acclaimed serio-comedic play The Lifespan of a Fact, written by Jeremy Kareken & David Murrell and Gordon Farrell, making its DC Premiere at Keegan.
It’s clear that a tremendous amount of talent, effort, and care has gone into this telling of The Tempest, and those affiliated certainly deserve high praise. Do yourself a favor and go see this production.
GHOST THE MUSICAL at Toby’s Dinner Theater in Columbia, based 1990's movie Ghost, starring Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze, offers romance, drama and retro vibes. The 1955 tune “Unchained Melody” strings the whole thing together. Cast and orchestra are harmonic and wonderfully watchable. Production values are excellent and dinner is delicious.
'Shakespeare in Love' may appeal to fans of the movie, but its convoluted plot and awkward presentation make this production one that is unlikely to earn new admirers. It can make for a fun night out, but isn’t a production I’d actively recommend prioritizing over others.
The Keegan Theatre is pleased to announce the cast and creative team of SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, adapted by Lee Hall from the acclaimed screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard. WONDERFUL (AND HER DOG!), by Lauren Gunderson with music by Bree Lowdermilk, a Keegan PLAY-RAH-KA production for families.
RICHARD II will play one preview performance on March 3, with opening night set for March 4. Scheduled through March 12, the production will perform Thursdays at 7:30, Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

Imagination Stage is an institution of the DC/MD theatre community and has been bringing theatre to children and audiences alike for over 40 years. With their new production of ‘Spy Academy & The Lost Treasure of Atlantis’ Imagination stage brings interactive theatre directly into the household. Children ages 5+ are invited to participate in an online interactive adventure where they assist Spy Team 7 with a series of puzzles and decisions to help retrieve the heart of the dragon from the wicked Dr. Levinious. Before showtime, adults are instructed in secret, to put together a few household items as well as printing out an instruction packet as props to be used in the interactive performance.
