Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts will be hosting the HAMPTONS COMEDY FESTIVAL, returning to Bay Street Theater this fall after successfully launching this past April (with a completely sold out debut performance)! The HAMPTONS COMEDY FESTIVAL is produced by Bay Street Theater's very own Paul Anthony and the Long Island Comedy Festival with the goal of bringing top comic talent to the Hamptons.

 An Evening With… are three of the most powerful words in the entertainment world and they are so often posted and signify an event that can only happen at the Friars Club.  In the early days of the club it was  an evening with James Cagney, George M. Cohan and other show business greats.  Then came evenings with Milton Berle, Frank Sinatra, and many other legends. 

Luckily the Sunshine Comedy Show at the Friars starts after the main course in The Frank Sinatra dining Room. Comics are an impediment for the healthy digestion of a meal. I don't think that there has ever been a person that has been in the Friars club who has not shared a laugh or left the Monastery not smiling. That in itself is a huge accomplishment, but the Friars do so much more than entertain themselves and enjoy their camaraderie. The Friar's Club Sunshine Committee (Tom DeBow chairman) is to the Friars what Ronald McDonald House is to McDonald's-they bring a ray of sunshine to those who need it most!

Nationally known comics Richie Byrne and Jay Black are the scheduled headliners for two winter weekends of comedy at the historic Bucks County Playhouse, January 15-16 and January 22-23.
