Ojai Playwrights Conference (OPC) will be presenting their virtual celebration CONNECTIONS benefiting their 2021 season June 12, 2021. CONNECTIONS will feature new or adapted works by playwrights: Luis Alfaro, Jon Robin Baitz, Father Greg Boyle, Bill Cain, Culture Clash, Stephen Adly Guirgis, Danai Gurira, Samuel D. Performers include Brian Cox, Eileen Galindo, Tzi Ma, Rose Portillo, Samantha Quan, John C. Reilly, Israel López Reyes, Nikkole Salter, Jimmy Smits, and Phillipa Soo; as well as some of the playwrights performing their own pieces.

Mayans M.C. has been renewed for a third season, building on the strength of its current second season, it was announced today by Nick Grad, President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment. It was additionally announced that Co-Creator and Executive Producer Elgin James will serve as showrunner for the series' third season, which is scheduled to return to FX in the fall of 2020.

Disney Television Studios including Twentieth Century Fox Television, ABC Studios and Fox 21 Television Studios takes over the San Diego Comic-Con convention with stars and creators of 14 of its fan-favorite shows descending on the world-famous gathering next month. The "I Have A Dream" Foundation - Los Angeles (IHADLA) is holding their 6th Annual Dreamer Dinner on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at The Skirball Cultural Center. This event honors those who inspire hopes and dreams for Los Angeles underserved youth and their families, showcasing the work being done by IHADLA to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through education, empowerment and opportunity. The host for the evening will once again be actress & comedian Melissa Peterman ("Baby Daddy," "Reba") in her sixth turn as emcee for the event. Oscar-winning actress Regina King ("If Beale Street Could Talk") will be in attendance to introduce Pamela Miller, CEO and Executive Director of IHADLA since January 2018 and devoted IHADLA board member since 2016.

Mayans M.C., the hit biker drama created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, has been renewed for a second season on FX, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. The second season will premiere on FX in 2019.
