SPAMALOT Creator Idle Takes 'Monty Python' Online with New Website

The New York Times is reporting that Eric Idle is guiding the drive to officially take Monty Python to the Internet.The creation is called, Pythonline.com, it is a social network and digital playground, offers clips of old material that people can use to make mash-ups, perhaps inserting their own pet in the killer-rabbit scene from 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail.'

Monty Python's SPAMALOT, the 2005 Tony Award? winning Broadway smash hit musical lovingly ripped-off from the internationally famous comedy team's most popular motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, will play its last pair of coconuts on Sunday, January 11, 2009 following the evening performance, after 1,574 performances (and 35 previews) at the Shubert Theatre in New York.
