REELZ today announced new original programming for July 2019 including six returning series, five new specials and the U.S. premiere of Air Crash Confidential about harrowing real life disasters that were made into movies. Then it's the return of The Price of Fame showing the remarkable and often devastating paths to stardom lived by Heather Locklear, the cast of Diff'rent Strokes and pop superstar George Michael. The dubious side of fame goes under the spotlight with returning series Notorious and the real stories about the Bling Ring thieves, the Balloon Boy hoax, disgraced politician Anthony Weiner and brand spokesperson Jared Fogle.

Reelz Announces New Original Programming for June 2019


REELZ today announced new original programming for June 2019 including four new specials, a new documentary and a returning series. Kicking off the June premieres is the special Ghostbusters: Behind Closed Doors about the movie that surprised everyone and became a cultural phenomenon with its perfect mix of stars, special effects and laughs. Then entertainment journalist Nancy O'Dell hosts the special Fatal Addiction: Hollywood's Secret Epidemic focused on the opioid crisis afflicting celebrities. In the documentary Elton John: Ten Days That Rocked the remarkable days that molded the music legend's life are revealed. As a solo artist Elton John doesn't worry about a band break up but that's not the case for members of Mötley Crüe, Guns N' Roses, New Kids on the Block and the Spice Girls whose splitting up stories take center stage in fan favorite returning series Breaking the Band. Real stories behind the music continue with the special The Michael Jackson Story examining the King of Pop's meteoric rise to fame and legacy tarnished by controversy. And finally the special Farrah Fawcett: Behind Closed Doors is an intimate look at the life of the beloved star who left an everlasting mark on entertainment and culture.

The 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade Featuring Marine Toys for Tots, led by Grand Marshal Nancy O'Dell of Entertainment Tonight, and produced by Associated Television International, will be telecast as a two-hour primetime special on The CW Network on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, 7:00 p.m. CT. 

Ashanti, Clare Dunn, and More To Perform at 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade


The 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas event in America, announces the 2018 talent lineup for its landmark anniversary celebration, which will take place on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. PT.  This year, the Hollywood Christmas Parade features a reunion with some of American Idol's top performers.  With Nancy O'Dell as Grand Marshal, musical performances will be featured during the parade and national telecast, and will include the following artists:  Ashanti, Clare Dunn, The Band Of Merrymakers, The Tearaways, David Archuleta, Ruben Studdard, Elliott Yamin, Blake Lewis, Kimberly Caldwell, Mikalah Gordon, Julia Ara and more to be announced soon.  For the telecast only, additional appearances will include performances by Donny and Marie Osmond, The Beach Boys performing Mike Love's new single “(You'll Never Be) Alone on Christmas Day,” Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery and Tim Davis.  The parade will also feature a special tribute for Toys for Tots from Ludacris and a magic performance by stars of The CW hit series, “Masters of Illusion.”

Nancy O'Dell Named Grand Marshal of the Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade


The 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas celebration in America, announces that Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell has been named the Grand Marshal for this year's landmark anniversary event.  Presented and produced by Associated Television International, the live parade which happens in association with The City of Los Angeles, is taped for network television, and will take place on Hollywood Boulevard on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.  The parade's telecast will be hosted by Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain and Montel Williams, with special co-hosts Elizabeth Stanton and Garrett Clayton.  The event will include live musical performances (to be announced) that will take place on two stages; featuring The Marine Toys For Tots.
