Mateo d'Amato

Mateo d’Amato is an actor, producer, and co-founder of Suite 524. He has starred in many of Off and Off-Off Broadway productions, including Not About Me (Theater for the New City), Shakespeare Conspiracy (Theatre Row), and Judith of Shimoda (La MaMa). His screen work includes lead and supporting roles in the films Green Brothers, Furies Inside Me, and We Were Young; as well as appearances on Blue Bloods (CBS), Betty (HBO), Jessica Jones (Netflix), music videos, and commercials for major brands.
A versatile voice actor, Mateo regularly performs voice-over work across film and television, and his voice can also be heard in podcasts, video games, audiobooks, and on the meditation app Calm. He has been nominated for an Audie Award and received two Best Ensemble acting awards: the Fresh Fruit Award for Village Orpheus at The Wild Project and recognition for his supporting role in Green Brothers, which premiered at the London Eye International Film Festival.
As a producer, Mateo has developed and produced several plays with playwright Eduardo Machado, laying the groundwork for Suite 524. He looks forward to expanding Suite 524’s Generator process and producing new pop-up theater events with his co-founders and an ever-growing ensemble of actors.
