The Guthrie Theater has announced the cast and creative team for The Little Prince, adapted by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar and based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Under the direction of Dominique Serrand, The Little Prince will play December 10, 2022 – February 5, 2023, on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.

The Guthrie Theater (Joseph Haj, Artistic Director) has announced the cast and creative team for Vietgone by Qui Nguyen, with original music by Shane Rettig and directed by Mina Morita. Anna in the Tropics, the second play of the 2022 Mainstage Season, is now in rehearsal at Bay Street Theater. The 2003 Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Nilo Cruz, directed by Marcos Santana, will open at Bay Street Theater with previews starting Tuesday, June 28, and Opening Night scheduled for Saturday, July 2. Get a first look at rehearsal photos!

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the cast and crew of Anna in the Tropics, winner of the 2003 Pulitzer Prize and the second show of the 2022 Mainstage Season, with previews starting June 28.

Originally scheduled to open the theater’s 2021–2022 subscription season in January 2022, the show was later postponed due to cases of COVID-19 among vaccinated members of the company. A Raisin in the Sun will now play April 30 – June 5, 2022, on the McGuire Proscenium Stage. 

The Guthrie Theater today announced casting for Lorraine Hansberry’s theatrical masterpiece A Raisin in the Sun, directed by acclaimed Twin Cities artist Austene Van. A Raisin in the Sun will play January 8 – February 12, 2022, on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.

Former Artistic Director Michael Wilson will return to Hartford Stage in March to direct the original play which inspired the Academy Award-winning film The King's Speech. Written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter David Seidler, the play tells the true story of King George VI, his speech therapist Lionel Logue, and a friendship that helped steer the course of history. The King's Speech will run Thursday, March 19, through Sunday, April 19.

Hartford Stage announced today the cast and creative team for Jeeves & Wooster in "Perfect Nonsense." The Olivier Award-winning comedy from brothers David and Robert Goodale will perform at Hartford Stage Thursday, March 21, through Saturday, April 20. Original director Sean Foley returns to stage the show, which is making its North American premiere at Hartford Stage. Three Broadway actors - Chandler Williams, Arnie Burton, and Eddie Korbich - star in the three-hander.

Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) today announced that Ed Dixon, Jeff Harnar, Christine Pedi, Jon Weber, Aaron Weinstein, Lauren Worsham, and Karen Ziemba would join the next presentation of Project Shaw.
