Holy Ship! Wrecked has announced its 2023 lineup. Eleven years ago, Holy Ship! reimagined what a music festival experience and community could be, with its successor Holy Ship! Wrecked bringing this concept to land with even more potential for complete attendee immersion.

A powerful and shocking new play directed by Melody Brooks, joins the Chain Theatre summer one act festival line up, running June 8th to June 25th.

NAATCO will begin performances for the Off-Broadway premiere of Hansol Jung’s modern verse translation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the classic tale of star-crossed lovers.  Jung will co-direct Romeo and Juliet with Dustin Wills.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW) announced that its 2023 Rachel Crothers Leadership Award® will be given to Anna Deavere Smith, multi-award-winning playwright, actress, professor, and author.

Arden Theatre Company will extend the Philadelphia premiere of  Lynn Nottage’s Clyde’s through March 12.

The Huntington has announced the cast and creative team of Clyde's, the Tony Award-nominated play written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and directed by Taylor Reynolds, in a co-production with Berkeley Repertory Theatre.

Desert Hearts Festival, one of North America's most celebrated boutique electronic music events, has released the star studded lineup for its return to Lake Perris, California on May 5-8.

The League of Professional Theatre Women will present its annual Theatre Women Awards on March 27th from 1 to 3 p.m., at a Midtown Manhattan location to be announced. 

Longtime En Garde Arts Chairperson and board member Joan D. Firestone is being honored with the creation of a fund in her name. En Garde Arts has raised $100,000 through a group of generous donors. This is a five year endeavor and every year one theatre artist will receive an $18,000 award and will have full freedom with how to use the funds.

Holy Ship! Wrecked has made a slew of announcements to further build anticipation ahead of its 2022 edition at Hard Rock Riviera Maya, Mexico this December 13-17. This includes activities, theme nights, branded party takeovers, and day-by-day stage lineups for the Main Stage, Beach Stage, Pool Stage, Sunrise Stage, Tropic Stage, and Wrecked Stage.

The cast has been announced for the Roundabout Underground world premiere of the bandaged place by Harrison David Rivers. The cast includes Stephanie Berry as “Geraldine Irby,” Jake Ryan Lozano as “Sam Yates,” Sasha Camille Manuel as “Ella Irby,” Anthony Lee Medina as “Ruben Torres,” Jhardon Dishon Milton as “Jonah Irby.”

The Civilians (Steve Cosson, Artistic Director; Margaret Moll, Managing Director), the award-winning New York-based theater company, will honor actor-manager and co-founder of NAATCO Mia Katigbak and Obie Award-winning director and arts leader Les Waters at The Civilians 20th Anniversary Gala Concert. City Theatre’s second season post-pandemic shutdown will feature five plays with first-time and returning artists, plus special events.

Despite the panto not returning until next year, the undisputed kings of Christmas cheer, Johnny McKnight (Writer) and Kenny Miller (Director & Designer) are back to get us in the festive spirit, with this heart-warming and triumphant tale of friendship, chaos and of course – non-stop hilarity!
