Live performances return to the school’s studio theatre in Edgbaston, Birmingham this summer, kicking off with the graduate year students of Elmhurst Ballet Company in Proxemics on 3 & 6 July, and concluding with the whole school performing in Elevate on 7 & 8 July.

A wonderful, young and gifted company, full of enthusiasm and modern moves, the LA Ballet Company delivered a surefooted performance at the Alex Theatre, October 6th, 2018. There are two more performances coming up; one at Royce Hall, UCLA, October 13th, and another at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, October 20, of this same program.

Wolves Are People Too is an exciting new collaboration between the jazz group Hansu-Tori, Birmingham Royal Ballet choreographer Kit Holder and artist-illustrator Trou. Based on the 2012 cult anime film Wolf Children, the production follows two part human, part wolf children as they mature into society.

The Birmingham Royal Ballet's first production of the season is always a special occasion, and even more so this year as the company celebrate the 25th anniversary of their move to Birmingham. In the past 25 years, Birmingham Royal Ballet have performed Swan Lake a total of 582 times, from Thailand to the USA, South Korea, Israel and Japan.
