Katy Blake is primarily a performer and has toured the country as Eva in Evita, Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, and Whistle Down the Wind (dir. Hal Prince). Off-Broadway she has performed at the York Theatre, Signature Theatre, and in various NYMF productions. She created the role of Pam in CATCO’s The Last Smoker in America, and the role of Sirroco in the Pasadena Playhouse production of Mask (dir. Richard Maltby, Jr.). In Los Angeles, she was seen at the Hollywood Bowl in South Pacific with Reba McEntyre, and was directed by Jason Alexander in Sunday in the Park With George at Reprise! She also sings and writes country music.

THE BIKINIS Comes to Riverbank Theatre This Month

Created by Ray Roderick and James Hindman, The Bikinis will run at Riverbank Theatre April 22 – May 22. Directed and choreographed by Katy Blake, the cast comprises Diana Spencer Turner as Annie, Jenny Giles – Voss as Jodi, Anita Newby as Barbara and Carrie Meusling as Karla.

West Virginia Public Theatre (WVPT) is collaborating with New York City composers, country music artist Tracy Lawrence, and West Virginia author Denise Giardina to develop Storming Heaven: The Musical. Their work will conclude with a staged reading of the musical at 7:30pm today, January 19 in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre (WVU Creative Arts Center) in Morgantown. This is a non-ticketed event, free, and open to the public.

New York Musical Festival (NYMF) Announces Final Production, Readings And Concerts For 2018 Festival

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) announced today further selections for 2018 NYMF. The final invited production as well as a series of developmental readings and concerts will join the initially announced Next Link Projects. Now in its fifteenth year, the 2018 Festival will take place July 9th through August 5th at locations on West 42nd St. in New York City. Dan Markley serves as NYMF Executive Director and Rachel Sussman serves as Producing Artistic Director.
