On September 8th and 9th at 8pm, Chicago Dance Crash will present “Evolution,” a two-act world premiere concert at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts. This production will serve as the final show for Crash Artistic Director Jessica Deahr who's award-winning career with the organization has delighted and inspired 100's of thousands of patrons well beyond the great City they call home.

Coming off a commercially & critically successful 20th anniversary season, local hip hop/contemporary performance company Chicago Dance Crash announced a series of upcoming leadership changes at a public fundraising event held last month.

Chicago Dance Crash and Artistic Director Jessica Deahr will premiere The Last First: Professional Dancemaking in 2020 Chicago — a bouncing, 50-minute documentary telling the story of the Crash Performance Ensemble and creative staff negotiating today’s climate to create and film three new repertory works.

Dearborn Ave., August 23-31. Opening Night is Friday, August 23 at 8pm. Lil Pine Nut is choreographed by Deahr and company Rehearsal Director KC Bevis with additional choreography by Dionna PridGeon and Jim Morrow. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm.
