Porchlight Music Theatre has announced its 26th season that includes the 2020 - 2021 Mainstage, Porchlight Revisits and New Faces Sing Broadway series. Porchlight's Mainstage and Porchlight Revisits return to the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn Street with its annual fundraising concert Chicago Sings Andrew Lloyd Webber launching the season taking place at the Museum of Contemporary Arts, 220. E. Chicago Ave.

Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier theatre company, announced today that youth actors from its Conservatory will present the Tony Award-winning musical, WONDERFUL TOWN. The story follows the adventures and misadventures of two sisters, Ruth and Eileen-one an aspiring writer and the other a dancer-who move from their comfortable hometown in Ohio to Greenwich Village, a bohemian area in New York City to fulfill their dreams. Wonderful Town will perform at Hillbarn Theatre (1285 East Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City) November 2-4, 2018. The performance schedule is as follows: Today, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets for all performances are $20 and available now at hillbarntheatre.org or by calling 650.349.6411.

Palo Alto Players, the Peninsula's first theatre company, announces its 88th season - featuring four Peninsula premieres and a re-imagined classic. The 2018-19 line-up, beginning September 2018, was unveiled Sunday, January 28 by Artistic Director Patrick Klein at the company's annual Season Announcement Party and includes Disney's TARZAN¬ģ, ALL THE WAY, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, FLOWER DRUM SONG, and ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS. All performances are held at the Lucie Stern Theater located at 1305 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. Subscriptions are on sale now online at www.paplayers.org or by phone at 650.329.0891. Individual tickets for the September show go on sale in August and for the remaining season beginning in October.
