Theatre Under The Stars hosted its annual Leading Ladies Luncheon on April 28 at Houston's renowned Tony's on Richmond Ave. The event honored Paula Harris with the Shirley Stein Outstanding Champion in the Arts and Education Award.

Theatre Under The Stars’ “Lights Up” Gala, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of TUTS Humphreys School of Musical Theatre, took place Friday, October 7 at The Astorian, drawing Houston philanthropists and arts lovers to celebrate the deep impact of theater education on our community! Theatre Under The Stars hosted the Leading Ladies Luncheon on April 22 at Houston’s renowned Tony’s on Richmond Ave. The event honored Cissy Segall Davis with the Shirley Stein Outstanding Champion in the Arts and Education Award for her extensive work in the arts community in Houston.

Welcome to Theatre Under The Stars 50th Anniversary Season Gala, an incredible and intimate celebration this past Saturday, March 23rd with Broadway star Idina Menzel and more than 600 TUTS family and friends. Many guests said it was the "best gala" they had ever attended. The gorgeous event designed by Taylor DeMartino of Blooming Gallery not only turned The Post Oak Hotel grand ballroom into a supper club "under the stars" that night, but guests experienced the magic of live musical theatre while supporting a great cause. A private meet and greet with Menzel was given to top sponsors along with gifts donated by David Peck. This historic event raised more funds than any other Gala in TUTS history - $1.37 million for "Houston's Home for Musical Theatre".

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) Gala, honoring Jim and Helen Shaffer for their decades of service and support to TUTS and the Houston arts community, was held on Friday night at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Cal and Connie Dalton and David Peck and Michelle Phillips co-chaired the event produced by the TUTS team and Live! Event Design.

The Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) One Night Only 2017 Gala, which honored Margaret Alkek Williams for her many contributions to the arts community in Houston, was held on Saturday night at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Becky and Bart McAndrews and Paul-David Van Atta chaired the event.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) annual Vine & Dine event held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Silver Street Studios treated its 300 guests to food and wine from around the world. Entertainment for this event was provided by students of the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) and featured songs from the various musicals represented in each region. The evening raised $135,000 for HSMT and TUTS other educational and community outreach programs.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) along with event chairs Randy and Sandy Stilley welcomed 380 guests to the Who Dunnit? Gala on at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, April 23. Adorned in attire befitting an Edwardian murder mystery, TUTS supporters and theatre aficionados dined, danced and participated in an original presentation from TUTS - an interactive musical.
