Theatre N16 strive to support artists who are without the luxury of personal backing or funding. This summer CATAPULT- a new mentoring scheme, giving six companies the opportunity to preview new shows and meet industry programmers and producers seeks to further these aims. This exciting new scheme will run alongside FIRST CREDIT, a yearly in-house production cast exclusively with new actors, and WOLAB, a free programme to get actor writers onto the stage with the support of industry leaders.

New Play HIDDEN to Premiere at Wandsworth Arts Fringe

?Writer and filmmaker Gary Thomas has just completed a run of his play 'Hidden' at Theatre N16 at the Bedford pub in Balham, south London. Gary received a grant earlier this year from Wandsworth Arts Fringe to put on his show, a very personal one-man play about mental health issues. The show got good reviews from those who attended the four performances, with Jamie Eastlake, Artistic Director at Theatre N16, saying it was "brutally brilliant", and called for it to be seen by a wider audience.
Theatre N16 to Stage Trio of Shows This Spring & Summer

This Spring/Summer, Theatre N16 will be producing 3 inhouse productions: in April, artistic director Jamie Eastlake will be directing Martin McNamara's new drama about the Guildford Four Your Ever Loving, followed in May by The Killing of Charles Bravo, an exclusive site-specific performance about a real-life murder that happened in Balham, where the theatre is based. Finally, in June, Chris Hislop will be directing a new production of Howard Barker's Gertrude, co-produced by LWL Investments and Entertainment Ltd.
