Royal & Derngate, Northampton and Polka Theatre are collaborating once again to present The Night Before Christmas. As part of its Made in Northampton season, Royal & Derngate has today released Scene Unseen, an intimate cabaret by Jessica Walker and Joseph Atkins, directed for film by the theatre’s Artistic Director James Dacre with illustrations by award-winning illustrator Thomas Hicks and cinematography by David Lefeber. 

Anthony McCarten's thoughtful and witty play is now revived at Kingston’s Rose Theatre in a production that deftly combines solemnity with fun in portraying the fictional relationship between Pope Benedict and Pope Francis.
