Isabelle Duverger Biography
Isabelle Duverger is an award winning French interdisciplinary artist born in St Germain En Laye, France. She is a graduate of Estienne School of Art in graphic communications in Paris. She also has a Masters Degree in Arts Management from the Audencia Nantes, France and ASB, Aarhus, Denmark. She is the co-founder of Laia Cabrera & Co. created in 2010, producing multimedia projects, from traditional and experimental filmmaking to the use of film and video streams in live performance, multimedia theater, video-mapped projection design, and site-specific interactive installations, working between the United States and Europe.She is currently showing her latest immersive interactive art installation "Dream-e-scape" at Flutter Experience Art Gallery (Los Angeles, 2021-2022) cosigned with Laia Cabrera. Past immersive interactive installations include "Within Reach" (Art Wall Coolvines Powerhouse, 2020), "Illusion" at Flutter Experience Art Gallery (Los Angeles, 2019-2021), "The Now" at Coolture Impact - Port Authority Bus Terminal (Times Square, New York, 2018-2020), "Self on the Shelf" (Spring Break Art Show 2018, as part of the Armory Arts Week, New York). For the past ten years, she has collaborated with her on the installation-performance "Aire", Tempietto di Bramante Roma, Italy, 2014, Art All Night Washington DC, 2015, Poughkeepsie, 2016, "St Jordi in New York", a projection mapping of the Facade of Deutsches Haus, 2017, "Untitled Mind", implemented as an indoor/outdoor video and sound installation in Nuit Blanche-Art All Night (Washington DC, 2013), "City In Motion" curated by Reebok Creative Lab (2014), a one-year video installation with Mapping for the Pop-Up Store Pikolinos in the Meatpacking district (NYC, 2013), the video-performance-concert "Walk-Pasa-Bouge" (New York - Brussels, 2009-2011), the installation-performances Claim Your Place (Centro Español NYC - Tournefeuille, France, 2010), "Shifting Gaze" (Spain Art Fest '10, Times Square, New York, 2010, Region Ø, King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center of NYU, 2011, Georgetown Glow, Washington DC, 2015) and "Resonant Streams" (The Value of Water series in the Cathedral Saint John The Divine, New York, 2011).

(Jaen Femenino, Spain 2009 - Biennale of Art of Venezuela, Merida, 2010) and the music video "All I Wanna Do" by Erica Glyn.
Her visual work was exhibited as part of Walk Bye (Photography, Jersey City, NJ, 2020), SixBetweenTheArts (Illustration, New York, 2012) and she completed her latest painting work series called "Love #" (saatchiart.com, 2020).
Isabelle Duverger is a three-time New York Innovative Theater Awards nominee for Outstanding Innovative Design (Projection Design, Video-Art and Animations) in 2015 for "Night" at the Theater for the New City, in 2014 for "Cosmicomics" at Dixon Place, and in 2013 for "Garden of Delights" at the Theater for the New City, 2013, and 2015 NYIT award winner for "Night" Outstanding Performance Art Production with the New Stage Theatre Company. She is also the recipient of the AVA 2013 and Telly Awards 2013 for Outstanding Animation, Bronze Telly Awards 2014 for Outstanding Art Direction and Silver Telly 2016 (highest distinction) for Outstanding Directing.
She has performed in renowned venues such as Times Square Plaza, St John the Divine Cathedral, Central Park Summer Stage, BAM, New York, NJPAC, NJ, Nuit Blanche Washington DC, Tempietto Di Bramante, Rome, Italy, Teatros Del Canal, Madrid and Fabra i Coats Contemporary Art Centre, Barcelona, Spain among others.
