CreateTheater will be presenting 6 performances of Finding Madame Curie, a new musical by David Kurkowski, April 14-23 at Theatre Row's Theater Four, 410 W. 42nd St., NY, NY. Finding Madame Curie will be directed by Staś Kmieć (Fiddler on the Roof) and features Kerry Conte as Madame Curie.
THE BLACK COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, an original musical by Michele R. Hampton, directed by Cate Cammarata, with musical direction by Seth Weinstein, is scheduled for a limited run beginning late September at Off-Broadway's Theatre Row (410 West 42nd St. NY).
The inaugural Rave Theater Festival wrapped up over the weekend, and festival awards were given to select shows and performers. Winners were chosen for outstanding production, outstanding musical, outstanding play, outstanding performances, outstanding direction, outstanding design, outstanding original score, outstanding book of a musical, outstanding choreography, outstanding ensemble, and outstanding marketing.
