David is losing his grip on reality. With every passing moment his most precious memories are slipping away. Haunted by his past, he finds help while investigating a mysterious phenomenon that is overwhelming the world's elephant population. A poetic and emotionally driven narrative, A Persistent Memory explores the unexpected virtues of grief, the impact of childhood memories, and how sometimes meeting the right people at the right time can change our lives forever.

"I am interested in finding writers with unique voices and giving them an opportunity to be heard. Jackob has one of those voices. His ability to tell a larger story by focusing on the Human/ Elephant conflict is not only timely but universal in our current political climate. This play touches me on a deep level and I am very excited to see it come to life in Times Square in the very creative hands of our director Jessi Hill." Mary J. Davis, MBL Productions
