Center Stage Jackson has announced the opening of its fifteenth season with the musical comedy 'The Addams Family,' to be performed today, October 24-26 and 31-November 2, 2014 in the Baughman Theatre, Potter Center, at Jackson College. Curtain times are 8:00 p.m. today and Saturday Performances,3:00 p.m. on Sundays. Those coming in costume to the October 31 Halloween performance will be eligible for prizes.

Center Stage Jackson will present Harvey, a Pulitzer-Prize-winning comedy in three acts by Mary Chase. Directed by Doug Meyers, Harvey is a charming telling of the story of a very likeable and pleasant man who's best friend happens to be an invisible six and one half foot tall rabbit. The play was adapted into a 1950 film that garnered an Academy Award nomination for James Stewart for best actor and a best supporting actress Academy Award for Josephine Hull for best actress in a supporting role.

'Lilli Marlene' a new musical featuring the hits of the WWII era starring Linn Maxwell, opened on Monday, September 22nd at the Abington Theater (312 West 36th Street). Directed by Erv Raible, with a book by Kathryn Ryan, the show features such songs as 'As Time Goes By', 'A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square', 'It Had To Be You', 'The White Cliffs of Dover', 'Mad About the Boy' and 'Lilli Marlene', which was made famous by legendary Marlene Dietrich. Paul Trueblood is the musical director.
