Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre has announced the cast of its July 2022 in-person live production of Side by Side by Sondheim. The production will take place July 28, 29, 30 & 31, 2022 at The Tiffany Center's Crystal Room in downtown Portland, Oregon.

Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre has announced the cast of its May 2022 in-person live production of The Theory of Relativity, by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill. The production will take place May 19 through May 22, 2022 in Bridgetown's new Black Box Theatre. After postponing the production in 2020, and again in 2021, Bridgetown has high hopes for a successful third try.

Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre has announced the cast of its December 2021 in-person live production of The Theory of Relativity, by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill. The production will take place December 9th through December 12th in Bridgetown's new Black Box Theatre.

The Lost Treasures Collection, a series of rarely performed musical gems, is back for a tenth season at Lakewood Theatre Company on its Side Door Stage. This year three musicals will be presented: The High Life (Oct 18-19, 2019), The Apple Tree (Feb. 21-22, 2020), and I Can Get It For You Wholesale (April 17-18, 2020). This year's theme is a?oeBarbara, Barbara, Barbra,a?? named for the three women (Barbara Cook, Barbara Harris, and Barbra Streisand) who originated their roles in these three shows. The musicals, staged in a concert/cabaret style, are presented script-in-hand, with minimal staging. No sets, no props (free from the usual trappings of a fully staged production).

Performances are on Lakewood's Side Door stage at Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

The play is uproarious throughout, McPherson finding ways to make the characters' desperation funny, but underneath there's a deep well of sadness that finally explodes toward the end.
