BIO

DeLance has toured Germany as a Back-up Singer/Dancer with BMG Music, toured the Mississippi Delta as a Storyteller, performed Greek tragedy at the world renowned Moscow Art Theatre, performed fraternity stepping on stage in Vietnam, and served as the Assistant Director of Living History at the Historic Arkansas Museum. He has performed in many regional theatres across the U.S, and was nominated for a “Best Actor in a Musical" award in Memphis, TN. After leaving Arkansas, he spent time in Chicago and New York City, honing his craft and gaining experience, before deciding to attend graduate school. DeLance is now based out of New York after graduating from the American Repertory Theatre/ Moscow Art Theatre Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University. He holds a MFA in Acting from ART/MXAT IATT and a BA in Theatre Arts, with Minor studies in Dance, from Henderson State University, and he is a member of Actors Equity Association and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announces its next production in Season 35: Lights Rise on Grace, a world premiere by acclaimed playwright Chad Beckim. Woolly Company Member Michael John Garces, who helmed recent Woolly shows including We Are Proud and The Convert, will direct the new production. Lights Rise on Grace will run from Monday, March 30 to Sunday, April 26, 2015.
