Training: Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholar), The Dance School of Scotland.
Theatre whilst training includes: Burrs in The Wild Party; Bert in Mary Poppins; ensemble, James The Anabaptist and The Captain in Candide; Henry Tilney in Northanger Abbey; ensemble in A Man of No Importance and Nurse and Jason’s Attendant in Medea.
Daniel is thrilled to be making his West End debut in The Prince of Egypt, and would like to thank his mum, Margaret, and his Uncle Jimmy for their constant love and support. He would also like to thank Katie and Gabe for their positivity and light.

Comic misunderstandings, secret romance, and sparkling music come together in The Silken Ladder (La scala di seta), the beloved one-act opera by Gioachino Rossini, opening May 28 at Theatro São Pedro. Presented by the Opera Academy and the Youth Orchestra of Theatro São Pedro, the production runs through May 31 with stage direction by João Malatian and musical direction by Gabriel Rhein-Schirato. Premiered in Venice in 1812, the opera follows Giulia and Dorvil, secretly married lovers whose nightly rendezvous depend on a silken ladder lowered from her bedroom window. Filled with jealous servants, mistaken identities, and Rossini’s signature crescendos, the lively comedy remains one of the composer’s most charming early successes.

Theatro São Pedro's lyrical season will continue with the production of the comic opera The Barber of Seville, by Paisiello, with the Opera Academy and the Youth Orchestra of Theatro São Pedro under the musical direction of Maíra Ferreira and stage direction by Ines Bushatsky.

The Prince of Egypt has this week been filmed live at London's Dominion Theatre by Universal Pictures Content Group. Plans for its broadcast will be released at a later date. The live capture of Scott Schwartz's production is directed by Brett Sullivan and produced by Dione Orrom.

THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, based on the classic DreamWorks Animation film, will play its final performance at London’s Dominion Theatre on Saturday 8 January 2022, the end of its booking period. Extra shows have been added on 20, 21 and 28 December 2021 at 2.30pm.

Nardia Ruth will join the production as Nefertari from Friday 17 September 2021. Nardia is a 2021 graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Music and a Disney Theatrical Productions Scholar and an Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award recipient. The role of Nefertari in The Prince of Egypt will mark Nardia’s professional and West End debut.
