American Ballet Theatre returns to the Metropolitan Opera House with four stories of love for its 2023 Summer season, June 22–July 22. The season will feature the New York Premiere of two-time Tony Award-winner Christopher Wheeldon's Like Water for Chocolate, as well as full-length classics Giselle, Swan Lake, and Romeo and Juliet.  General public on sale for ABT's 2023 Summer season begins on Monday, April 24 at 12:00 P.M. at the Metropolitan Opera House box office.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts announces the return of SoCal's favorite holiday tradition - American Ballet Theatre's captivating production of The Nutcracker.  Co-presented by the Center and ABT with choreography by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, The Nutcracker is the beloved holiday story based on The Nutcracker and the King of Mice written by E.T.A. The 'American' in American Ballet Theatre is more evident than ever before. The pristine presentation consisted of three different and unique pieces using music from America's most distinguished contemporary Composers. Leonard Bernstein, the varied well-known composers and lyricists of songs Tony Bennett sings, and noted jazz pianist Jason Moran; with contemporary, audacious, well-known Choreographers Alexei Ratmansky (ABT's Artist in Residence) the legendary Alonzo King (his first piece for ABT), and the whimsical, all-out entertaining Jessica Lang.

America’s National Ballet Company will take to the road this summer, traveling by bus and truck to 8 U.S. cities and arriving in New York on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. The tour concludes with two performances on the plaza at Rockefeller Center, the site where Ballet Theatre offered its first public performances in 1940.
