Pump Boys and Dinettes, the final production of the 2014 Encores! Off-Center series, will star Jordan Dean, Hunter Foster, Mamie Parris, Randy Redd, Katie Thompson and Lorenzo Wolff, with Austin Moorhead on guitar. Pump Boys, running July 16 - 19, will be directed by Lear deBessonet and choreographed by Danny Mefford. Jeanine Tesori is the Encores! Off-Center artistic director; Chris Fenwick is the music director. The company of Pump Boys and Dinettes met the press today, and BroadwayWorld brings you interviews with the cast, plus a sneak peek at two numbers from the show!

Set in a garage in suburban Long Island, THE BLACK SUITS tells the tale of four boys (lead singer, guitar, bass and drums) who are preparing for stardom by way of the St. Anne's Battle of the Bands. The band and the music give focus and sustenance to the boys whose lives are filled with teenage angst and longing, struggles with friends and girlfriends, and the need to make choices.

Zack Zadek is hosting a debut solo concert at Joe's Pub on January 28th. The 9:30 PM show will feature songs from Zack's hit musical "6" (NYMF), an intimate telling of six New Yorkers who, by six degrees of separation, unexpectedly alter each other's lives, and a sneak preview of his current project "The Crazy Ones," detailing the biography of Steve Jobs and the formation of Apple, Inc. through the rock and acoustic revolutions of the seventies.
