Angela Aaron

BIO

Angela Aaron is a Los Angeles based, international costume designer and member of the Costumers Local 705. Aaron first gained attention by being the youngest person at Hearst Communications with a Fashion Editor title, when she stepped into the role for Czech Esquire in 1998. After 3 years abroad she relocated to Los Angeles where her work expanded to include commercial and celebrity styling for commercials, photo shoots and music videos; with A list directors and photographers. These opportunities led to more custom design work which set the stage to develop the design skills she’s widely known for today.

In 2011 she was hired through her LA agent to style a poster for a new show called The Illusionists. What was meant to be one-off opportunity turned into a decade long venture in live performance theatre that’s still expanding today. Angela designs and art directs the costumes for numerous shows including the highest grossing magic show of all time (The Illusionists); with Broadway runs and international tours that include the best houses in the world. Her theatrical costuming expertise also includes the art of circus; with shows currently on stages, ranging from a turn of the century themed Circus 1903 at London’s Southbank, to Cirque Du Soleil’s modern day, New York themed Mad Apple in Las Vegas.
