United Solo Announces THE BEST OF Category, Celebrating Artistic Achievement

There has never been a lack of extraordinary talent at United Solo. Year by year, audiences have witnessed some of the most amazing solo artists from all over the world share their talents and stories. Some of these artists have made a particularly incredible mark on the audience's hearts through their performances on the United Solo stage at Theatre Row on 42nd Street in Manhattan. Therefore, during the first two weeks of the 10th anniversary season of United Solo, nearly thirty award-winning performers will be gracing the stage once again in THE BEST OF category.

Soaking WET Dance Series Returning to West End Theater, 2/4-7

The Soaking WET dance series, curated by David Parker and Jeff Kazin, returns to the West End Theater with two performances daily, February 4-7, showing all world premieres by choreographers Garnet Henderson and Kai Kleinbard (early shows), and the Barkin/Selissen Project (later performances). The charming and friendly West End Theater is located on the 2nd floor of the Church at 263 West 86th Street (corner of 86th & West End).

The Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company and Norwegian/Jewish actress/vocalist Bente Kahan present The Legacy Project: Echoes, an evening of dance, theater and live music. The Legacy Project: Echoes includes elements of their individual repertoires and the collaborative piece Silent Echoes and features the world premiere of Tikkun with commissioned score by renowned jazz and Klezmer musician Greg Wall. Carolyn Dorfman has created a body of work, The Legacy Project, honoring her Eastern-European Jewish heritage.
