Barkin/Selissen Project Re-Opens Applications for the 'Dancers Above Water' Relief Initiative


After disbursing financial relief to over 50 dance artists since the outbreak of COVID-19, Contemporary dance company Barkin/Selissen Project ('B/S P') is launching the third round of Dancers Above Water, an emergency relief fund for NYC-metro area dancers and choreographers suffering pandemic-related losses. Financial support of $500 will be awarded to local dance artists in-need.

Barkin/Selissen Project to Premiere Extended Version of ACCIDENTAL SUITE at Riverside Church this March


Contemporary dance company Barkin/Selissen Project (B/SP) will premiere an extended version of Accidental Suite at Riverside Church on March 20th. In June of 2019, thousands of viewers across the globe experienced Accidental Suite as a short film, 1 of 5 dance films in B/SP's Titles Project, and voted it to be expanded and presented live. With performances at 7pm and 9pm, audiences may move about this Neo-gothic lounge, sip wine and indulge in the expansive views of the Hudson River. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.

There has never been a lack of extraordinary talent at United Solo. Year by year, audiences have witnessed some of the most amazing solo artists from all over the world share their talents and stories. Soaking WET Dance Series Returning to West End Theater, 2/4-7


The Soaking WET dance series, curated by David Parker and Jeff Kazin, returns to the West End Theater with two performances daily, February 4-7, showing all world premieres by choreographers Garnet Henderson and Kai Kleinbard (early shows), and the Barkin/Selissen Project (later performances).   The charming and friendly West End Theater is located on the 2nd floor of the Church at 263 West 86th Street (corner of 86th & West End).
