ALICE BY HEART at Horizon West Theatre Company

Set against the backdrop of the London Blitz during World War II, Alice by Heart follows Alice Spencer as she seeks refuge in the world of Wonderland with her friend Alfred, who faces quarantine due to illness. This intimate production features a creative team led by Nicholas Wainwright and includes live musical performances with a rotating cast of 16 actors. With choreography by Malik Van Hoozer-Elliott, the show emphasizes the seamless blend of acting and music to deliver a poignant exploration of first love and the struggle to cope with loss. Cast members Emily Fielder, Alex Austin, and Luke Haynes bring depth to their roles, showcasing the transformative power of imagination amidst challenging realities.
