In May 2017, pianist Daniel Ciobanu won the Audience Favorite prize and Silver Medal at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition. Ciobanu is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) and has studied under the tutelage of Aaron Shorr, Steven Osborne, and Pascal Devoyon. Ciobanu currently resides in Berlin. His program will include works by Enescu, Stravinsky, Scriabin, and Mussorgsky.
