In O'erwatch, an ambiguous military outfit secures a checkpoint only to discover things are not quite as they seem. How does the bureaucratic system embedded in the military, coupled with modern warfare tactics like drone usage, strip not only the indigenous population in a given region of their humanity, but also those with boots on the ground? O’erwatch explores these themes through absurdism and honesty. Part of program 23 at the 2025 Chain Theatre Summer One-Act Festival.
Ages: Teenage to adult.
Chain Theatre is at 312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY, 10018, New York, NY.
