Nine Shadows in Bloom is a poetic, ensemble-devised theatre piece exploring how identity takes shape across cultures, languages, and memories. The piece transforms the stage into a rehearsal room of the mind, where nine “shadows” embody different facets of one self: discipline, silence, joy, longing, and resilience. Through movement, live singing, and poetic dialogue, these shadows reveal how personal history and social expectation intertwine to shape belonging. Rooted in Dreamborne Theater’s mission to bridge the healing and edifying aspects of performing art, Nine Shadows in Bloom celebrates theatre as a process of emotional integration and transformation. It is both intimate and collective, an act of remembering, reconciling, and reimagining the self. We will be hosting talkback session following the Saturday (12/6) and Sunday (12/7) matinee performances. You're warmly invited to stay and join the conversation with the creative team and cast. -- If you experience any difficulties during the ticket purchase process, please email us at inshadowbloom@gmail.com.
