THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 25 AT 8.30PM (ASL) FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 26 AT 8.30PM Award-winning Canadian Clown Artist Candy Roberts assumes her alter ego in this smart and daring piece about a lovable hoser’s hilarious attempt at self-improvement. He’s no “idiom,” and when the band doesn’t show up, tech guy Larry tries his darndest to convince the audience that he can do the show. What could go wrong? In a dynamic display of stupidity, Larry offers stand-up comedy and life-couching wisdom, such as going to the dump to watch the bears eat the garbage, before undergoing a surreal transformation while learnin’ the audience how to "medertate". Bob and Dog Mckenzie meets Feminism? Self-help meets headbanging? Gear Down, Big Rig, you might get sideways. “A masterful, weird, poignant, gut-busting, vulnerable, and thought-provoking tour de force ”- Cincinnati Fringe Running time: 60 minutes Ticket Note If you are in a position to do so, we would greatly appreciate opting for the Supporter ticket to ensure we can offer All Are Welcome tickets to everyone who may need them. We’ve set the standard ticket price at $20 for shows and $60 for workshops. In an effort to make RocHaha Clown Festival as accessible as possible we have opted to use a sliding scale ticket model.
Each evening of RocHaha there will be two shows. We encourage audiences to buy tickets for both of the shows on the same day and make a night of it. During the turn around between shows, we will ask audiences to leave their seats and head back into the lobby so we can reset the stage.
