Justice for Geetha is a timely and powerful play in a time of anti-DEI by Sunita Deshpande, premiering as part of the 2025 Chain Summer Festival in New York City.
Opening on July 11 and running through July 19 at Chain Theatre, this production explores the urgent themes of justice, equity, and the silencing of marginalized voices through the real-life, unresolved tragedy of Indian-American chemist Geetha Angara.
With compelling performances by Sunita Deshpande, Julie Amangoua, and Margaret Burrus, the play confronts workplace injustice and challenges audiences to reckon with what freedom truly means in our time.
