Joffrey Concert Group at Ailey Citigroup Theater

The NY-based Joffrey Concert Group will present a program of premieres, Feb. 14 at 7:30 PM and Feb. 15 at 3 PM & 7:30 PM at the Ailey Citigroup Theater.  Choreographers are Bradley Shelver, artistic director of the Group, and Tsai Hsi Hung and Thang Dao, both recipients of the Group's annual Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative (CMCI).   Exceptional young dancemakers Hung and Dao were selected from hundreds of applicants to receive the CMCI, enabling each to create a group dance for the company, receive rehearsal space, a stipend, and two public performances of their works.
