The Met hosts its third annual Spring Open House on Saturday, April 19, prior to the matinee performance of Il Barbiere di Siviglia. The Open House allows hundreds of children and families to take part in hands-on musical explorations and experience behind-the-scenes demonstrations by members of the Met’s backstage and artistic staff, including musicians, actors, dancers, and members of the Wig and Costume Shop. We’re incredibly excited to welcome families back to the Met. The Spring Open House begins at 11 AM and is free for all ticket holders to the 1 PM performance of Il Barbiere di Siviglia on April 19. Tickets start at $35. While the Spring Open House is on this day, Il Barbiere di Siviglia runs from April 15 through June 5.
