General Mischief Dance Theatre Presents ‘INTERPLAY’ at Aaron Davis Hall

Join us at General Mischief Dance Theatres upcoming performances of INTERPLAY at the gorgeous Aaron Davis Hall happening Fri. Sept. 27th (7:30pm) and Sat. Sept. 28th (7:30pm)!This season includes four wide-ranging collaborations including the premiere of General Mischiefs newest suite of dances entitled Back/Story, the culmination of two years collaboration between choreographer Emily Smyth Vartanian and the 41Street Ensemble with an intimate live performance. The evening also includes the acclaimed Walk Softly, a playful group work set to music by Donna Viscuso and others, in collaboration with the VNote Ensemble and 41Street Ensemble. The company is also proud to present choreographer Karen Gayles intense, seminal work, The Waiting Room which highlights the companys athleticism and theatricality. The final work is The Shell Game, an essential piece from the General Mischief canon, revised in honor of its 10th year in the companys repertory, set to flirtatious swing music. All works are either Mischief premieres or newly enhanced repertory works, so there is something new to see in every dance. Dont miss it!
