Games is set in 1936, Berlin. When Jewish athlete Helene Mayer is selected for the Nazis' Olympic Squad, she realizes she is fighting for much more than gold. Based on a true story, 'Games' is a cautionary tale for our times. A multi-award-winning, sell-out success, the show received won the Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award and received astonishing 14, five and four-star reviews in Edinburgh. Games will play Wednesday - Friday at 7:30 pm; Saturday at 3 pm & 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3 pm. Tickets will be $50 and can be purchased by visiting www.sohoplayhouse.com

Emit Theatre will present ISLE FULL OF NOISES: An Interactive Tempest, an interactive show for young audiences and families, adapted from Shakespeare's The Tempest and directed by Gianna Cioffi. The show is the first in the Little Lights Series of monthly pop up performances hosted by The Shakespeare Forum. Isle Full of Noises performs Sunday, January 12 at 1pm at El Barrio's Artspace PS109 (215 E. 99th St., off the Q and 6 trains). BWW Interview: Actor Burt Grinstead Talks Richard the Lionheart in THE LION IN WINTER

Actor Burt Grinstead gained recognition in Los Angeles for his terrific performance in Deathtrap at LGBTQ and later in The Rope at Actors Co-op. He formed his own production company and produced and co-starred in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, which he also adapted with his partner Anna Stromberg. They won top prize at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2018. Grinstead is currently preparing to open as Richard the Lionheart in The Lion in Winter at Laguna Playhouse this Sunday November 10. In our conversation he talks about the play in depth and lays bare his passion for the acting profession.

She joins previously announced honorees Jane Fonda, who will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film Presented by Cunard, Jackie Chan, who will receive the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment, and Steve Coogan, who will receive the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy Presented by Jaguar Land Rover.
