At the beginning of Monty Python mania, Eric Idle bought a crumbling ruin in the hills of Provence. Step inside Idle’s “shackeau” at this celebration of his latest book—a hilarious and candid ode to the place he penned iconic songs and scripts, hosted friends including George Harrison and Robin Williams, and found a rare kind of peace far from the madness of showbiz. Join us for a lively and fun evening—that just might include a singalong or two! In conversation with Adam Gopnik (The Real Work).
All full-price tickets of $45 or more include a signed copy of Idle in Provence. There are a limited number of companion tickets available. These tickets are $25 and do not include a book.
