Do Not Go Gentle, written by David Najam Liskow, follows Nicole and her boyfriend, Mark, after they travel to Detroit to see a Strokes concert. Nicole wants to enjoy a night away from the stress of her hospitalized mom. They park at a Leo’s Coney Island diner, but when they come back their car has vanished. Nicole begins to spiral, desperate to find a solution to all her bad luck, as Mark tries his best to protect his peace from her. Nicole truly believes she can find the car and is willing to push herself and Mark to their limits to find it. Nicole through this night of horrible goodbyes and terrible luck, fights for release that may never ever come. She finds herself faced with new love, but in the face of having to let go of something she holds dearly. Will she ever find her peace? She doesn’t know, but she will not go gentle.
