Ryan Conarro was never a very good gay. He wasnt into hooking up, partying, or wearing angel wings in parades. Scared of the scene and of the men he wanted to want, Ryan played it safe and only dared his way into long-term committed relationships. He spent most of his adult life living in a remote forest in Alaska. The one time he did dress up for a gay pride parade, he chose a wedding gown. In 2017, Ryan achieved the American gay dream of the 21st century: he got married. Everyone in his big Catholic family said: If he has to be gay, at least hell be married. 2 short years later, his husband suddenly left him, and Ryan finds himself living out a new nightmare: gay divorce. BAD HUSBAND//BAD HOMO is a comedy of errors an absurd series of stories where Ryan tries to pick up the pieces and hits (and misses) the gay scene. What does it mean to be a poster boy for gay marriage, then turn around and become a pioneer of gay divorce? If youve turned out to be a bad husband, what if youre already a bad homo?
