Nothing is sacred in this SLAY ride of adult humor that rips the shiny bows and pretty wrapping off the holiday season. The show features two acts of music-filled satire and burlesque that turn the last quarter of the calendar belly up. And audiences should be warned - they'll never look at Kris Kringle the same way again.

The cast will be composed of many local favorites who have previously appeared in productions of Wreck The Halls all overFairfield County.

To round out this all-star cast we are looking to fill ONE ROLE. We are seeking the following –

Singer/comic actor age 35-55 Lyric Baritone or Tenor. Must be experienced with singing harmony and holding a part. There is no difficult choreography, but must be able to move well. Strong comic sense is needed in order to teasingly project the tongue-in-cheek lyrics.

Please include your resume and headshot, and prepare your best 16 bars of two songs. At least one should show your top range, and at least one should show your comic chops. Please bring proper sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. No a cappella or recorded tracks, because we want to hear how you perform with live players.

For the safety of the cast, crew, and creative team, The Sherman Players will ask all those cast to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.

Rehearsal schedule TBD starting early October. Performances at The Sherman Playhouse are Nov. 26th (8pm), 27th (8pm); December 3rd (8pm), 4th (8pm), 5th (2pm), 10th (8pm), 11th (8pm), 12th (2pm), 17th (8pm) and 18th (8pm). Two dates (December 9th and 16th at 8pm) will be held as ‘Brush Up’ rehearsals or in the event of added or replaced performances.
