Casting Notice: Children's Theatre


The Gateway: Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County is currently casting for its upcoming children’s theatre show, SEUSSICAL, JR.

We are seeking actors ages 10 to 18 to fill all roles in this production for young audiences. Some of these roles include memorable characters many of you may know such as The Cat in the Hat, Jojo, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mazie La Bird, Sour Kangaroo, theWickersham Bros., the Who’s, and Jungle Creatures!

Auditions will be held on Monday July 8th from 4PM to 7PM at
Gateway Playhouse: 215, South Country Road, Bellport, NY, 11713 . Signups begin at 3:30pm in the Gateway Lobby. Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, July 9th beginning at 4PM.

Please prepare 32 bars of music to sing, and BRING SHEET MUSIC. Accompanist provided. Please avoid singing acapella. You may also be asked to learn a small dance combination so please wear comfortable clothes and/or bring appropriate clothing and shoes for choreography.
