'NIGHT, MOTHER - Firehouse Theatre Project
AUDITIONS for Marsha Norman's 'night, Mother directed by David Emerson Toney. Auditions will take place Monday, May 13th at Firehouse Theatre Project. Call-backs will take place on Tuesday, May 14th. Rehearsals for 'NIGHT MOTHER will begin in mid-August and performances will run September 19th - October 19th, 2013.
Character Breakdown:
'night, Mother by Marsha Norman
(The Role of THELMA has been precast)
JESSIE: A divorced woman who lives with her widowed mother. She is an epileptic who has experienced seizures most of her life. Nothing in life has worked out for this woman, including raising a grown son who turned out to be a disappointment. She has suffered with severe extended depression that has never been treated.
Actors will be asked to present two contrasting contemporary monologues no longer than 5 minutes in combined length. Auditions will take place at Firehouse Theatre, 1609 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220. Auditions are by appointment only.
